EFFECTOR
The effector is an electromechanical sound generator, built out of everyday objects like springs, wires, mechanical toys, a typewriter, an analog phone dial, a crystal glass, part of a spinning machine and other sonorous objects. An effector can amplify the sounds of previously mentioned objects by using so called sound pick-ups, and with the help of additional electronic effects can combine and mix these sounds to create complex rhythmical sound structures. It emphasizes sounds produced by everyday objects, which are usually overheard, and allows them to produce unique and improvised compositions and create their own language.
